3 - LAYERED PECAN PIE


Directions

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/3 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 (9 5/8 in. pie crust)

MIDDLE LAYER:

1 1/4 c. chopped pecans

TOP LAYER:

3 eggs
1/4 c. sugar
1 c. light corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla

In small bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, salt, vanilla, and egg. Beat at medium speed until well blended. Spread in pie crust. Sprinkle with pecans. In small bowl, mix all top layer ingredients. Beat until blended. Gently pour topping over pecans. Bake at 375 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes or until center is firm.
