AL'S SPECIAL PECAN DANTIES

INGREDIENTS
1 c. soft butter
1/2 c. sugar
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. vanillatbsp. water
2 c. pecans, ground (or finely chopped in blender)
Pecan halves for decoration


METHOD
Cream butter and sugar until light; add remaining ingredients; to mix well. Chill in refrigerator until firm. Shape into 3/4 inch balls. Top each with a pecan half. Bake in moderate oven at 325 degrees for about 20 minutes. Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar while warm. Store in airtight container.
