INGREDIENTS
2 cups apples, thinly sliced
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup dark molasses
3 tablespoons brandy
3 eggs, beaten
1 cup pecans, chopped
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup light corn syrup
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 9-inch pie crust, unbaked


METHOD
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Prepare pie shell.
Cream the butter and sugar until smooth. Stir in eggs, molasses, corn syrup, brandy and lemon juice. Add apples and pecans and mix thoroughly. Pour filling into pie shell. Sprinkle with nutmeg. Bake for 40 minutes or until the filling is bubbly and crust brown. Cool before serving.
