Southern Star Pecans originally started out selling only in-shell pecans produced in our orchard. When our loyal customers began requesting shelled pecans, we contracted a local pecan shelling facility to process our pecans and offered both whole and shelled pecans for sale. When our customers began asking..."What else do you sell?" we started exploring our options. We experimented with gift baskets and gift tins, tried our hand at making candy...and came to the conclusion that there are two things we do well at Southern Star Pecans...grow pecans and sell pecans. We aren't all that talented at creating gift baskets and tins, and are a complete failure at making candy. So we have enlisted the talents of some of the very best at what they do to offer our customers the very best products available!
