Southern Star Pecans is located just north of Brownfield approximately 35 miles southwest of Lubbock, Texas.  Our orchard consists of around a hundred young hybrid Western Schley and Wichita pecan trees.  We realized early on in our pecan adventure that our small, young orchard would not produce a crop large enough to attract the intrests of commercial wholesale buyers.  We ventured into the online retail marketing of our pecans in 1997, selling our pecans on Ebay for the first several years.  We soon realized that Ebay seller fees and Paypal fees were taking a large chunk of our profits.  In 1999, we launched our first website, marketing our pecans directly to the public.  Today, our Southern Star Pecans website ranks number 2 on the Google search.  The only website preventing it from achieving number 1 is our very own  Pecans for Sale website, holding the coveted numero uno since its launch in early 2007.  Our Buy Pecans Online website rests in a comfortable number 5 spot on Google (Number 1 if your search is 'buy pecans online.')  As you can see, we need more pecans to sell.
